"Building Ensley Together"

Over 10 years I ago I started preparing daily for what is currently taking place and I had no idea it would be in the Ensley Community of Birmingham first. I just knew it was going to be African American community with real everyday concerns. I moved back to Birmingham in 2013 to move from vision, research, and preparation to action. 5 years passed by and the perfect opportunity presented itself to purchase my first block of real estate. In 2018, I realized that everything I wrote in my book about rebuilding African American communities  titled "Black Americans, We Need You" in 2011 is coming true. In February 2019, I shared my vision publicly for the first time after recording it in 2009.

Most people think my first visible moves are about real estate; NO, they are about people and community building. I want you to know that we are going to build a better Ensley. We are going to invest in people. We are are going to build a stronger economy. We are going to create workforce development programs. We are going to launch new youth programs. We are going to invest in senior needs. We are going to invest in working age men and women of all ages. We are going to create a safe community. We are going to build a better community. We Are Going to Build Ensley Together.

If you have a business or non profit program you want to launch here reach out to me. If you want invest in me or others, reach out to me. If you have an area of passion that means more to you than any other area and you don't know how to get your idea off the ground and you want to invest your passion into Ensley, so we can have a more balanced community, reach out to me.

Thanks, Brian K. Rice
